Candied Bacon BLT

Candied Bacon BLT is made with Bourbon Pecan Praline Bacon Rub or Original Cajun Bacon Rub.

16 slices of bacon
8 slices Country White Bread, toasted
12 leaves California green leaf lettuce, washed
16 thin slices ripe tomato
3 tbsp of your favorite Bacon Rub
2 baking sheets, preferably the same size

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Put bacon slices in a bowl, season them with your favorite Bacon Rub. Mix the seasoning and bacon together gently.
3. Place the bacon on the baking sheets and ensure they are laying flat.
4. Place the tray in the center of the oven and bake for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and let it stand for 5 minutes.
5. On a clean work surface lay out the toasted bread slices and spread 1 side of each slice with 1 1/2 tablespoons of the  Mayonnaise (or less to taste.)
6. Build the sandwiches by placing 4 slices of bacon, 3 lettuce leaves and 4 slices of tomato onto the spread side of 4 of the bread slices.
7. Top with the remaining slices of bread, spread sides down, and press downward slightly before slicing each sandwich in half.
