Blood Orange Cinnamon Stuffed French Toast
There is no better way to start your day then with a mouth full of this french toast - using Award Winning Blood Orange Cinnamon Preserves!!

1 jar of Fischer & Wieser's Blood Orange Cinnamon Preserves
1-2 Tbsp. cognac (or other brandy)
1 (8oz) pack of cream cheese, softened at room temperature
2 eggs
1/2 cup of milk
1/2 tsp. granulated sugar
12 slices thick-cut white bread
Butter for cooking
Confectioners sugar for serving

Heat the preserves and cognac in a saucepan. In a bowl, combine about 2 Tbsp of mixture with the cream cheese.
In a separate small bowl, whisk together eggs, milk & sugar. Spread cream cheese mixture on half of the bread slices.
Top with remaining 6 bread slices; press around the edges to seal. Melt butter on a griddle over medium-low heat. Dip sandwiches in the egg mixture for a few seconds on each side. Cook until golden brown, 2-3 minutes per side. Serve with confectioners sugar and fresh fruit. Spoon the remaining warm sauce over the top.
